The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge 20 Pro's global score of 92.8. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 III has older 11 version while Motorola Edge 20 Pro has Android 12. Although the Xperia 1 III and the Motorola Edge 20 Pro were released with only 2 months difference, Xperia 1 III's design is a little bit lighter but also just a bit thicker.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a little better processing power than Sony Xperia 1 III. Both of them have 12 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much better number of pixels per display inch.
