The Motorola Edge 20 is just a bit better than the Huawei P30, having an 86.1 score against 81.7. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 20 has a newer 11 version while Huawei P30 has Android 10, so it counts with some extra features and enhanced performance. Motorola Edge 20 is a newer phone, and it is also just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than the Huawei P30.
The Huawei P30 features just a bit better screen than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel density. Huawei P30's processor is very similar to the Motorola Edge 20 one, and although the Huawei P30 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Motorola Edge 20 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a much higher 108 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Huawei P30's storage to store more apps and games is very similar to Motorola Edge 20's one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 20 has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery size.
