The Motorola Edge 20 has a score of 86.1, which is just a bit better than Moto G 5G's 81.5 general score. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 20 has 11 version and Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, giving you some additional features. Motorola Edge 20's body is much lighter and way thinner than Moto G 5G, although they were released with only a couple of months difference.
Motorola Edge 20 has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto G 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
