Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 has a general score of 86.1, which is better than Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 global score. The Motorola Edge 20 design is newer, somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than Moto G8 Plus. Motorola Edge 20 features a little faster CPU than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Motorola Edge 20 has a little bit better looking display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite bigger screen. Moto G8 Plus has a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Motorola Edge 20 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a way more megapixels camera in the back.
Moto G8 Plus features a battery life that is very similar to the Motorola Edge 20 one.
