Motorola Edge 20 has a general score of 86.1, which is better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. Despite being the best phone in this review, Motorola Edge 20 is a a little thicker and notably heavier phone than Galaxy Alpha. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 20 has older 11 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Motorola Edge 20 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Alpha counts with a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Edge 20, although it has a way smaller screen, a lot lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a just a little lower screen density.
The Motorola Edge 20 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a bigger aperture for better photos in low-light environments and a lot higher 108 megapixels resolution back camera.
