Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, getting a score of 86.1 against 83.3. These phones have Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 20 has a newer 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version. Motorola Edge 20 is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it's also just a little lighter and a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 8.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a bit better performance than Motorola Edge 20, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
