Comparison review
LG Velvet is just a bit better than Motorola Edge (2021), with an 87.1 score against 84.6. Although LG Velvet is older than the Motorola Edge (2021), it's design is somewhat thinner and a little lighter. LG Velvet and Motorola Edge (2021) have very similar screens, both of them have a higher pixels amount in each inch in the screen, the same exact 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution and a same size display.
LG Velvet features a processor that's very similar to the Motorola Edge (2021) one, both have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. LG Velvet features much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Edge (2021), and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Velvet also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola Edge (2021) counts with superior battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has a 16 percent more battery size. The Motorola Edge (2021) captures clearer videos and photos than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge (2021) also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
