Comparison review
Motorola Edge (2021) is slightly better than Xperia XZ Premium, with an 84.6 score against 79.8. Motorola Edge (2021)'s design is notably newer, but thicker and just a little heavier than the Xperia XZ Premium. Motorola Edge (2021) and Xperia XZ Premium feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Xperia XZ Premium has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a much more vibrant display than Motorola Edge (2021), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and way more pixels per inch of display. The Motorola Edge (2021) has a superior camera than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge (2021) also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments and a back-facing camera with a way higher 108 MP resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2021), because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 256 GB. Motorola Edge (2021) counts with a much better battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
