The Motorola Edge (2022) is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a global score of 84.7 against 78.7. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge (2022) has the previous 12 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Motorola Edge (2022) body is a lot newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, although it is just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little sharper screen than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage for games and applications is just as good as Motorola Edge (2022)'s one, both of them have equal internal storage capacity.
Motorola Edge (2022) features a little faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM memory. Motorola Edge (2022) features improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 25% greater battery size. The Motorola Edge (2022) has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge (2022) also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates, a bigger aperture and a way higher resolution back camera.
