Comparison review
Motorola Edge (2022) has a general score of 84.7, which is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite's score of 79.5. These devices include Android OS, but Motorola Edge (2022) has the newer 12 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, providing the user some additional features. The Motorola Edge (2022) construction is newer, a little lighter and a little thinner than Huawei P40 Lite.
Motorola Edge (2022) features a little bit better performance than Huawei P40 Lite. They have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei P40 Lite features a display that is just as good as the display in Motorola Edge (2022), although the Huawei P40 Lite has a quite lower 1080 x 2310 pixels resolution, a bit less pixels per inch of screen and a little smaller screen.
The Motorola Edge (2022) has just a bit better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge (2022) also has a lot better (4K) video resolution and a camera with a better resolution. Huawei P40 Lite's storage for apps and games is just as good as the Motorola Edge (2022) one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Motorola Edge (2022) has longer battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Motorola Edge (2022), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning some features and specifications.
