Motorola Edge (2022) has an overall score of 84.7, which is slightly better than the LG G8 ThinQ's overall score of 84.3. Even though Motorola Edge (2022) is just a bit heavier than the LG G8 ThinQ, it's just a little bit thinner and noticeably newer. These phones use Android OS, but Motorola Edge (2022) has the previous 12 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
LG G8 ThinQ features a better looking display than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better processing unit than Motorola Edge (2022). Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
Motorola Edge (2022) captures better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge (2022) also counts with a lot more MP back camera.

Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
