Comparison review
The Motorola Edge (2022) is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1 VI, getting an 84.7 score against 83.2. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Motorola Edge (2022) has older 12 version while Sony Xperia 1 VI has Android 14 version. Motorola Edge (2022) features a very superior hardware performance than Xperia 1 VI, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a little sharper display than Motorola Edge (2022), because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a quite larger screen and a much higher count of pixels per inch in the display. Xperia 1 VI features a slightly better camera than Motorola Edge (2022), although it has a lower 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier camera aperture and a worse resolution back-facing camera.
The Xperia 1 VI has a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge (2022), because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
