Comparison review

Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge (2022)'s general score of 84.7. The Xperia 5 II is an older phone than the Motorola Edge (2022), but it's just a little thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. The Xperia 5 II features a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Edge (2022), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 II also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 II features a slightly better display than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a bit more pixels per display inch. The Xperia 5 II features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Motorola Edge (2022), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1000 GB.

Motorola Edge (2022) features improved battery duration than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh. Motorola Edge (2022) shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting images or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge (2022) also counts with a back camera with way more MP.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Edge (2022), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Edge (2022). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Edge (2022), resigning a couple features and specifications.
