LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 general score. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14 version. Even though LG G8 ThinQ is incredibly older and a little bit thicker than Motorola Edge (2024), it's body is still just a little lighter.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better display than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a lot more opaque screen and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120.

The Motorola Edge (2024) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a much bigger camera sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a much longer battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
