The LG G8S ThinQ is an a lot older and a bit heavier phone than Motorola Edge (2024), but LG was able to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14.
Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a just a little lower screen density, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The LG G8S ThinQ has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ has a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a really longer battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3550mAh. Motorola Edge (2024) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
