Comparison review
Motorola Edge (2024) is a little bit better than the LG Q70, getting a overall score of 78.5 against 77.9. The Motorola Edge (2024) design has the same thickness than the LG Q70, but it is somewhat lighter. These phones use Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge (2024) has a newer 14 version while LG Q70 has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple additional features and improved performance.
Motorola Edge (2024) has a sharper screen than LG Q70, because it has a just a little greater display density, a bit bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The LG Q70 has a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The LG Q70 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor, a worse video quality and a camera with a way lower 32 mega-pixels resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. LG Q70 features a bigger memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Motorola Edge (2024) features superior battery life than LG Q70, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG Q70. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2024), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG Q70, letting go some features and specs.
