The Galaxy A31 is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), having an 81.3 score against 78.5. Despite being the best phone in this review, we must highlight that it is also incredibly older, a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A31 has the previous 10 version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14.
The Motorola Edge (2024) features a more vivid display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy A31 features a battery life that is very similar to the battery duration in Motorola Edge (2024). The Samsung Galaxy A31 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a way smaller camera sensor taking much worse quality videos and pictures, a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or videos in low light environments, a much lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a back facing camera with less mega-pixels.
