Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy A51 is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), having an 85.5 score against 78.5. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has the older 11 version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14. The Samsung Galaxy A51 is an notably older cellphone than the Motorola Edge (2024), but Samsung was able to make it just a bit thinner and a little lighter.

Galaxy A51 counts with a way better performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a better screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a little bit larger display.

Galaxy A51 captures much clearer photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a way tinier back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photos or videos in low-light environments, a worse (4K) video definition and a lower 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a little bit better storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB. Motorola Edge (2024) has better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy A51 is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
