Galaxy Note 3 is a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), with a global score of 81.2 against 78.5. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 3 has older 5.0 version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14. The Galaxy Note 3 is a notably older and a little thicker cellphone than the Motorola Edge (2024), but Samsung was able to build it a little lighter anyway.

The Motorola Edge (2024) has a little sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a larger display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a just a bit higher number of pixels in each inch in the display. Motorola Edge (2024) has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Note 3 features a lot better hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Motorola Edge (2024) shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a way higher resolution back facing camera, a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a bigger aperture to capture better images and video in low-light environments.

Motorola Edge (2024) features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, making this phone a no doubt choice.
