Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14 version. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 design is much older, heavier and just a bit thicker than the Motorola Edge (2024).
