Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 global score. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14 version, so it gives you a lot of extra features and increased performance. Although it's the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also incredibly older, way heavier and way thicker.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a way better processing power than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a much worse pixels density, it also counts with a larger screen.
The Motorola Edge (2024) has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video quality, a back camera with much more megapixels and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.
The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Motorola Edge (2024) features just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has an 11% more battery size.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Edge (2024), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Edge (2024). If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola Edge (2024), giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
