Xperia 1 V is slightly better than the Motorola Edge (2024), getting an 82.7 score against 78.5. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia 1 V has the previous 13 version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also older, a bit thicker and just a little heavier.
The Sony Xperia 1 V has a processor that is very similar to the Motorola Edge (2024) one, and although the Sony Xperia 1 V has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 1 V, because although it has a lot lower pixel count per screen inch and a way lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger screen.
The Motorola Edge (2024) and the Xperia 1 V feature incredibly similar storage for games and applications, both have the same internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 V features a battery life that's very similar to Motorola Edge (2024)'s battery life. The Xperia 1 V counts with a very superior camera than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a lower (4K) video definition, a lower resolution camera in the back and a smaller aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
