Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024)'s general score of 78.5. Both phones in this comparison review use the same Android 14 OS (operating system). The Xperia 1 VI body is lighter and incredibly thinner than Motorola Edge (2024). The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a CPU that is very similar to Motorola Edge (2024)'s processing unit, and although the Sony Xperia 1 VI has 4 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bit better looking screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot lower screen pixel density and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Sony Xperia 1 VI shoots much better videos and photos than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a smaller aperture, a lower (4K) video resolution and a lesser mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Xperia 1 VI has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge (2024), and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 VI also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia 1 VI and Motorola Edge (2024) feature incredibly similar batteries.
