The Xperia XA2 Plus has a general score of 78.6, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge (2024)'s global score of 78.5. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Xperia XA2 Plus is a older, heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Motorola Edge (2024). Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XA2 Plus has 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14 version, giving you a lot of extra features and increased performance.
Xperia XA2 Plus counts with an extremely better CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Motorola Edge (2024) has just a bit better display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a much brighter screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite bigger display.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a much worse 23 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a worse video resolution, a lot tinier sensor taking less light and dull colors and a smaller aperture. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bigger storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Motorola Edge (2024) has a superior battery performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3580mAh.
