Sony Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than Motorola Edge (2024), with a global score of 79.8 against 78.5. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium construction is a little thinner than Motorola Edge (2024), although it is just a bit heavier and was released many years before. Xperia XZ Premium has a lot better performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ Premium counts with a sharper display than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a little smaller display and a lot more opaque display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot higher pixels count per screen inch. The Motorola Edge (2024) features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium shoots slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lower 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, a lot tinier sensor which offers a lot lower photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels resolution.
The Motorola Edge (2024) features a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
