Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), getting an 82.2 score against 78.5. The Xperia XZ2 Premium design is a lot older, a lot thicker and notably heavier than Motorola Edge (2024). Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better looking screen than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a quite smaller screen and a lot darker display, it also counts with a much higher pixels density and a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a way worse 19 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a worse (4K) video definition and a lot smaller sensor capturing much lower quality videos and pictures, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a very superior battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41 percent greater battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Edge (2024), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Edge (2024). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and get the Motorola Edge (2024), resigning a couple features and specifications.
