Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better performing CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a graphics processor. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a sharper screen than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a lot greater screen density.
The Motorola Edge (2024) features a superior memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. Xperia Z5 Premium takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a much smaller camera sensor, a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera and a lower video definition, they both have a F1.8 camera aperture.
