Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, getting a 79.5 score against 77. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version, so it offers lots of additional features and optimized performance. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, Huawei Mate 20's design is way older, a bit thicker and a bit heavier than Motorola Edge 40 Neo.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has much more display brightness, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a little greater pixels amount per display inch.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a much greater performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo shoots better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera and a way bigger back camera sensor which provides a way higher photo and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 20's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Motorola Edge 40 Neo's one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory. Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
