Comparison review
LG Velvet is better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, with a global score of 87.1 against 77. LG Velvet's design has the same thickness than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, but it's a little heavier. The LG Velvet features a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a sharper screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. LG Velvet features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo features longer battery life than LG Velvet, because it has a 16 percent larger battery capacity. Motorola Edge 40 Neo shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a much larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with a better 50 MP resolution.
