Motorola Edge 50 Pro is much better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, with a global score of 86.3 against 77. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has 14 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version, giving you some additional features. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro body is just a bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has a bit worse amount of pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also counts with a bit bigger display and much more brightness. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo and the Motorola Edge 50 Pro count with quite similar CPUs, and although the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a camera in the back with a 50 mega-pixels and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also counts with a way larger diafragm aperture.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo has just a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
