The Moto G 5G has a score of 81.5, which is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo's 77 global score. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Moto G 5G has the previous 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Moto G 5G construction is noticeably older, way thicker and somewhat heavier than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a better looking screen than Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Moto G 5G counts with a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto G 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Moto G 5G counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola Edge 40 Neo and Motorola Moto G 5G count with extremely similar batteries duration.
