Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, with a score of 82.6 against 77. Even being the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also notably older, thicker and heavier. The Moto G 5G Plus features a very superior processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a much better looking display than Moto G 5G Plus, although it has a little lower pixels density, a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit smaller display. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes clearer videos and photos than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light photos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a lot larger sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a back camera with a better resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo and the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus both count with incredibly similar battery performance.
