The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has an overall score of 77, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power's 76 global score. Motorola Edge 40 Neo's body is way newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto G8 Power. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 40 Neo has newer 13 version while Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10, offering lots of additional features.

The Moto G8 Power has a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a much better looking display than Moto G8 Power, because it has a quite larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a little greater display pixel density.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo shoots better pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a much larger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.

Motorola Moto G8 Power has a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Power's battery performance is just as good as Motorola Edge 40 Neo's battery performance.
