The Motorola Moto G9 Plus is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, getting a global score of 80.5 against 77. Despite being the best in this review, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus is a much older, somewhat thicker and heavier device than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto G9 Plus has the previous 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a brighter screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a bit better pixels density. Motorola Moto G9 Plus counts with a much greater performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Moto G9 Plus features a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo and the Motorola Moto G9 Plus count with extremely similar battery performance.
The Moto G9 Plus captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has a smaller camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G9 Plus also counts with a camera with a way higher resolution.
