The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is slightly better than the Galaxy A22, with a 77 score against 76.1. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo construction is newer, a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy A22. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a more recent 13 version and Galaxy A22 has Android 12 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 features a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A22, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit larger display.
The Galaxy A22 features a superior storage for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy A22, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a way higher (4K) video quality and a higher resolution back facing camera.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A22.
