Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, with a 78.1 score against 77. Although it's the best phone in this review, Galaxy XCover 5 is a notably older, just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the previous 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a lot better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a larger display. Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a superior battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 67 percent more battery size. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
