Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo's 77 general score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is noticeably older, incredibly thicker and way heavier than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a sharper display than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has way less brightness and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution and much more pixels per screen inch.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a much better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a lot bigger sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photographs and a back camera with a much higher resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a greater memory for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
