Comparison review

The Asus ZenFone 7 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, getting a score of 83.9 against 83.4. The Asus ZenFone 7 is a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 7 has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13.

Asus ZenFone 7 has a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has just a bit better screen than Asus ZenFone 7, and although they both have a greater amount of pixels per display inch, a same size screen and an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has much more brightness.

The Asus ZenFone 7 has a superior memory for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures a little bit better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a lower video definition and a camera with lot less mega-pixels, and they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor.

The Asus ZenFone 7 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
