Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a general score of 83.4, which is a bit better than LG G5's global score of 76.1. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's design is way newer, but thicker and much heavier than the LG G5. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the previous 13 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
LG G5 has an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a little bit better looking screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot worse pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures greater pictures and videos than LG G5, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a much higher 7680x4320 video definition, a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a lot larger sensor taking way better quality pictures.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has slightly more memory capacity to install games and applications than LG G5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with a much better battery life than LG G5, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
