The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, getting an 83.4 score against 76.3. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the older 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Motorola Edge 40 Pro's design is way thicker and much heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a higher number of pixels per display inch, a lot larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and 10 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU. Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much more MP camera in the back, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a larger aperture for better low light photography.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a much better battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
