The Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is better than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro's 83.4 overall score. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Fold is a notably older and a lot heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it notably thinner anyway.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has just a bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity. Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a lot higher video definition, a way bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with way more MP.
