Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a score of 83.4, which is a bit better than the Galaxy M30's 82.4 overall score. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's construction is way newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than the Galaxy M30. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the older 13 version while Galaxy M30 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a little sharper display than Galaxy M30, because although it has a little worse pixels count per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Galaxy M30 has a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro takes greater pictures and videos than Galaxy M30, because it has a lot better video quality, a bigger camera aperture, a much higher 50 MP resolution camera in the back and a way larger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and pictures. Galaxy M30 has a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M30 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
