The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note7, having an 83.4 score against 79.5. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro body is newer, but a little thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note7. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a little bit worse amount of pixels per inch of display and a little bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.

Galaxy Note7 features a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has 4 less cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a much greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note7, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a way better camera than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking images in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot better 50 MP resolution camera in the back, a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much better 7680x4320 video quality.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note7, because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
