The Xperia 1 II is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, getting a global score of 91 against 83.4. The Xperia 1 II is an much older device than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, but Sony managed to make it just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter. These devices come with Android OS, but Xperia 1 II has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13.

The Sony Xperia 1 II features a lot better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 II has just a bit better looking screen than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen pixel density and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.

The Sony Xperia 1 II features a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a camera with way more megapixels, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos and a way better video definition.
