Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, getting an 88.3 score against 83.4. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13. Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, it must be noted that it's also an older, somewhat thicker and a little heavier cellphone.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features just a bit better display than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, a higher quantity of pixels per display inch and an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a little more brightness.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a higher resolution camera, a much better video resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photos.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.
