Motorola Edge 40 has a global score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Honor Magic 6 Pro's 76.6 global score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 40 has older 13 version and Honor Magic 6 Pro has Android 14. The Motorola Edge 40 construction is thinner and way lighter than Honor Magic 6 Pro.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro counts with a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit sharper screen than Honor Magic 6 Pro, although it has a quite smaller screen, a quite lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a just a bit less pixels per screen inch.
Honor Magic 6 Pro captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have a back camera with a 50 mega pixels, a F1.4 diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has a larger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
