Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a general score of 79.5 against 77.2. Even being the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also a way older, heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone. These devices include Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, offering a couple nice extra features.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a lot better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 features a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bit higher number of pixels in each inch of display and more display brightness.
The Motorola Edge 40 and the Huawei Mate 20 feature really similar storage capacity for games and applications, they have equal 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much more MP camera in the back, a much larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way larger aperture.
