Huawei Mate 30 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a general score of 84 against 77.2. Despite being the best in this review, Huawei Mate 30's construction is incredibly older, just a little bit thicker and heavier than Motorola Edge 40. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 30 has the previous 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit better pixel number per inch in the display. Huawei Mate 30 has as much memory capacity to store more games and applications as the Motorola Edge 40, both have equal 128 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 30 counts with a much better processing power than Motorola Edge 40. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei Mate 30 takes clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and videos in low light situations, a lower (4K) video quality and a back camera with a lower 40 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.
