Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40, having a 78.7 score against 77.2. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, giving you a lot of extra features and better performance. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's construction has the same thickness than the Motorola Edge 40, but it is just a little heavier.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bit worse pixels number in each inch in the display, it also counts with a larger screen. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Motorola Edge 40 one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola Edge 40 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot larger camera aperture, a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a back facing camera with much more MP.
Motorola Edge 40 features a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 10 percent more battery capacity.
