Comparison review
The Huawei Pocket S has a general score of 78.2, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 global score. Although the Huawei Pocket S and the Motorola Edge 40 were released with only 6 months difference, the Huawei Pocket S body is just a little bit thinner but also somewhat heavier. The Huawei Pocket S counts with HarmonyOS 3 operating system, while Motorola Edge 40 comes with Android 13 operating system.
Huawei Pocket S features a much better performance than Motorola Edge 40. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 8 GB of RAM. Motorola Edge 40 has a bit better screen than Huawei Pocket S, although it has a quite smaller display, a bit inferior pixel count per inch in the screen and a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Huawei Pocket S counts with as much storage capacity to install games and applications as Motorola Edge 40, they have the same 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Pocket S, because it has a higher 50 MP resolution camera in the back and a lot larger aperture to capture better low light images.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Pocket S, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
